Unstructured Outing

Old and busted: Snape kills Dumbledore.

New hotness: Dumbledore is gay.

magidin said...: And you should see the sheer amount of vandalism on the Dumbledore Wikipedia page (and to a lesser extent, the Grindelwald entry as well). Ironically, "XX is gay" is a very common vandalism in most fictional character pages. I wonder if, after they stop being graphic, we'll get a lot of "Dumbledore is a heterosexual fictional character" vandalism on that page...; 11:26 AM

The irony is certainly acute. Indeed, someone on the Talk page laments that the vandals were right all along and that this fact was messing with his world view.

Personally, I'm waiting to see how long it will be before one of the major presidential candidates is asked what he or she thinks about this revelation.; 11:37 AM
