I only just now noticed
That certain specific runes
Have been ground into my skin.
If I had sacrificed
Even just one eye
I could tumble them
And distill
Meaning and wisdom,
Fate and foreboding,
Truth and tribulation,
But I have both eyes,
Clear sighted and blind.
